Answer:

let the original price be 100%

then,100%-38%=62%

if 38% decrease =$27.28

let,62%decrease=x

by cross multiplying and dividing

x=$44.51 decrease

the sum of the %decrease=100%

also$44.51+$27.28=original price=$71.79
