[tex] - 2n - 6 - 4 = 8[/tex]

Evaluate like terms

[tex] - 2n - 10 = 8[/tex]

Find for n

[tex] - 2n = 8 + 10[/tex]

[tex] - 2n = 18[/tex]

[tex]n = 18\div - 2[/tex]

[tex]n = - 9[/tex]
